Since 1968, CEFAM S.A. Fabrications ATLAS,
capital 915 000 €, has confirmed its control on conceiving / manufacturing lifting equipment.

The company is established in the heart of the area of Cognac, Pineau wine and the Marennes-Oléron oysters, on a 12000 square meters covered site, gathering the registered office and the factory, with a manpower of 100 people.

CEFAM S.A. Fabrications ATLAS has regularly invested to be able to rely on production equipment of quality.

French leader recognized as the expert in lifting tables and elevators manufacturing, turn-over in 2009 : 8,500,000 Euros, of which 10 % at export (this means 1000 to 1200 lifting tables a year).

The development of this equipment goes from the simplest solution to the special equipment, answering particular operational requirements in sectors as various as chemistry, wood, the armament, car, railway, data processing, perfumery, administrative authorities, metallurgy, etc.

During these years, CEFAM S.A. - ATLAS has confirmed its vocation of conceiving / manufacturing levelling equipment resting on the ground. The productions range is very wide and very diversified.

CEFAM S.A. - ATLAS engineering and design department is equipped with 12 stations CAO/DAO.

The team consists of :

• technicians in the Pricing Department,
• 1 encoder/drafter,
• 5 mechanical design draughtsmen for the specific equipments,
• 2 control engineers draughtsmen,
• 2 draughtsmen specialized in the research and the development.

The technicians’ main mission is to design specific equipments and to carry out the products launch files.

The Engineering and design department also has the mission of searching and developing new products.

The design and the manufacturing of our lifting tables and platforms answer the French regulation resulting from the European Directive Machines no. 98/37, to the European standard lifting tables EN 1570, to European standard EN280 for lifting persons, to the standards concerning electricity EN 60 240.1, the emergency stops EN418, hydraulics EN982...
